As Earth's average temperature increases, so too will the frequency and intensity of firestorms and windstorms.
Dear Fellow Earthlings,
Now now that the great firestorms have been hitting Los Angeles, many people are beginning to realize that climate change is a fact – – and that something must be done.
Regardless of what the causes are, we have to assume that if humans are indeed at least partially responsible for the sudden climate change that is taking place, then humans need to start trying to undo the precarious circumstances that now confront us.
Chances are that there are other factors that are also causing climate change, but at this point, we should assume that if there’s anything that we can do to reverse the trend that is so obvious, widespread —and destructive – – we are obligated to at least try to stop denying the fact that the average temperature of Earth is going up year by year now, and the fact that so many life forms are being affected by this.
Here we are talking about survival.
If we try to survive, but fail — however terrible that might be, that tragedy would pale in comparison to the tragedy that will be the case, if we continue to deny our roles in contributing to the problem!
If we do not fail, we will reap the benefits. Our fellow living creatures will also be beneficiaries of our success.
It is imperative that we stop burning those fossil fuels and sending all of the pollutants from their derived plastics into Earth’s fabric.
No, none of this will ever reach Earth’s core — but Earth’s core is lifeless. It is Earth’s ECOSYSTEM, the top, thin layer of the planet on which all life is found, that is being damaged.
