A New Friend of Earth Arrives on Reltonia (Use picture 1, please -- no caption)
Dear Fellow Earthlings,
Recently one of my Jingles clients spent 3 glorious days on Reltonia with me. He quickly got into the act of helping me care for Reltonia. First we went to northeast Reltonia, where he marveled at the happy trees. The weather was very pleasant, with a blue sky and only a few, puffy clouds.
As I watered the plants, my client -- Let's call him Efrem -- helped me clear blackberries from our path and to deliver containers of water to the 8 young trees (oaks and firs) that I have been helping to gain a foothold from the blackberries over the past few years.
We spent about 2 hours at northeast Reltonia, and enjoyed sipping water on the little bridge I constructed down there some 5 years ago...
We paused at one juncture on our trek up toward Summit House so that I could clear one 4-foot Douglas fir of vegetation both inside and outside its "protector" (protective cage).
Up at the house Efrem was shown his guest room at Summit House. We prepared dinner together and then enjoyed a beautiful sunset....
We retired early as we wanted to get an early start tomorrow.

Welcome to Eugene Airport, Efrem!
Steve hauled down some soil to ease erosion problems for one of the small trees at the NE corner.
Efrem and Steve made sure to have water with them!
From besieged and beleaguered…
…To well tended and feeling good!
