Earthlings Beware: Robots (and other AI entities) Have No Souls.

Dear Fellow Earthlings,

It's time for me to take stock of things and relate them to all of you.

First of all, the average temperature of Earth's air and water continues to rise.

This causes severe weather events, such as drought and flooding. If we cannot

curb the recent rapid increases in Earth's average temperature, the extinction

of humans and other living things will become more likely.

Earth's human population continues to increase. While the percentage of growth

has dropped from 10 years ago, the absolute number of humans continues to

increase. Of course, this increase strains Earth's already overtaxed capacity to

support human life. Once the population density of any living thing reaches its

saturation point, mass die offs occur.

Old ways, such as time honored traditions and beliefs, communion with nature,

traditional roles, and diverse lifestyles are all being hit by standardization, the

blurring of concepts, and -- ironically -- a decrease in interpersonal, intimate,

communication. These dynamics increase the likelihood of humans to become

addicted to drugs, alcohol, sex, information processing, and computerized gadgets.

The ability of humans to relax and live simple lives will be curtailed as a result of

the overload within their nervous systems.

Information is now being disseminated in nefarious ways, leading to confusion about

what is true and what is not. Technological advances allow small numbers of individuals

to send out messages to the bulk of Earth's human population -- leading to distorted

views about what is real and what is not.

People are being caught up in weblike plasmas that are, at the same time, presenting

them with options to consider -- yet limiting them to those options that the system decides

should be presented to them.

It seems we are rushing headlong into an abyss from which there is no escape.

Only time will tell.
