Our catch phrase is on its way.

Dear Fellow Earthlings,

As you probably know, happiness started flooding my heart and soul two days ago as Gajehsöh and I were working with Brandon Martin, and Robbie Jimerson. If you don’t know, then please take a look at Installment 278.

That happiness continues to course through my every fiber as I tell you what I have been doing today.

To begin with, I fed and watered “the animals” that Gajehsöh keeps: chickens, a cat, bantam chickens, a sheep, a thick-coated pony. The -19 degree Celsius temperature turns liquid water to ice in seconds. So wonderful to see the animals drink the liquid water we provide! Snow has been coming down intermittently, and the Earth’s surface (yoëndza’go:h) is covered with “oniya:sde (packed snow) -- and the air here is so dry! So all the animals are so thirsty!

Gajehsöh and I worked for many hours on “Magic Resonance Gestures” to add to the gaënö’ – then took a break and caved in to the reality of what much of the “real” Seneca Nation is all about: the “Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel” in Onë’dagö:h (Salamanca). At the casino I experienced the atmosphere: the smoking, the gambling, the overweight people gorging themselves, a bilingual sign in SPANISH (NOT in Seneca, but in SPANISH!!) and English ... – and the only Onö(n)dowa'ga:' sign that Gajehsöh and I did see was translated inaccurately!

At the casino I overate. Shame on me! But with that “fuel”in me, I worked on and on into the night, knowing my time in Seneca country is coming to an end. I was all alone as I worked here at the school (where, by the way, I am also staying, as a guest of the schoolL

Flooded with the Iroquois spirit all around me as I worked and studied deep into the morning, surrounded by things Seneca, I was caught up in a rapture.

And the so sad a map of the United States up on the wall!!!!...

I will persevere! I WILL save Seneca!!
