John Lennon is not the only dreamer.
Dear Fellow Earthlings,
As we seek to save Earth, we must make sure that we pursue lifestyles that foster good health for
each of us. If we are healthy we can devote more time and energy to recycling, preserving biodiversity, and reducing (with an eye to someday eliminating!) pollution.
A healthy person is more capable than kerm unhealthy counterpart of recycling energetically, efficiently, and extensively. This is not to say that physically challenged people are unable to do anything to save Earth. Rather, I am pointing out that it is the responsibility of both able bodied
people and those who are not quite so able bodied to do what they can to maintain Earth's capacity
to support ALL of us.
Each and every human being should be made aware of how much Earth needs kerm help -- and
of how much bounty a healthy Earth can provide not only for us humans but for all life forms.
When biological diversity is maintained, natural balance is the result. This balance leads to increased health and happiness for all living things. We humans need to be responsible for helping maintain biodiversity by refraining from (1) overpopulating Earth with humans and (2) introducing alien species into areas where they will damage indigenous life forms.
Healthy humans learn better. The nutrients needed for good mental are reaching their nerves and other tissues in their bodies. With all bodily functions performing harmoniously, humans can use their sharpened minds to envision repercussions that can be averted when we make decisions that are not in harmony with nature.
If we are in good physical condition, we can get by using modes of transportation that do not pollute so much as cars, trucks, airplanes, ships, or trains do. These cleaner options of getting around include bicycles, public conveyances, walking -- and hopefully someday Elon Musk's brainchild "the hyperloop" (See installments 103 through 106, which I disseminated between September 2013).
Also, good health allows us to eschew "labor saving" devices from time to time in favor of using good old-fashioned human energy: If you need to borrow a cupful of cooking oil from a neighbor, for example, why not just walk over to kerm house and knock on the front door to ask for some!
Some of you readers may think I am merely a dreamer -- "but I'm not the only one!!!" (words from John Lennon's song "Imagine"c Downtown Music Publishing). Others include John Lennon, Elon Musk, Melati Wijsen, Isabel Wijsen (See Installment 300 for information about the Wijsen sisters.), and many (if not all) of YOU my fellow Earthlings!
John Lennon, tragically, has been taken from us. Let us hope that all of the remaining dreamers for a healthy Earth follow healthful lifestyles and remain healthy so that we can all work together to save our home!
