Good Attitudes Lead to Good Actions

Dear Fellow Earthlings, Hurtful words damage. Even a comment as "light" in tone as "You have no substance." can leave the person hearing this sad, embittered, hopeless. The victim of the criticism will not be happy, optimistic, or enthusiastic as a result. If instances of such insult are multiplied even as little as a thousandfold among the nearly EIGHT MILLION THOUSAND (that is, the almost eight billion) people who live on this Earth, its repercussions will be felt by all of us in the form of the tragic things that some humans find it possible to do if their insecurities and other negative feelings result in anything less than GOOD intentions towards everyone else on Earth. One common expression I have heard regarding the doubts about what sort of future awaits the human race is: "Well, I'm just glad that I (the word "I" said with emphasis) will not be around to see the end of the world!" Here are a few comments that could be used instead of the above, which leaves the listener shocked to hear that the person is saying that kee does not care one whit about anyone besides kermself: "As long as I have the ability to do so, I will live out my days attempting to ease other peoples' fears, misery, and despair." "Let us seek out and support those who aim for a world free of prejudice against others and who are actively spreading their love to those who need it." "When people commit actions that hurt others, we must address the causes for their lack of caring. The callousness they have displayed is the result of what has brought them to this point in life. Punishment should be meted out tempered by the goal of helping the perpetrator of a misdeed to stop harboring the negative feelings that have brought kerm to dole out such poison." Here we are reminded of the peacemaker on the train, the gentleman I mentioned 17 days ago, in my blog of September 29, 2016 -- and which I ask you to read or to reread. Yes, fellow Earthlings, each of you has the potential within you to enthrall others, to encourage them, to ease their concerns, to move them to save Earth!
