Our catch phrase is on its way.
Dear Fellow Earthlings,
Tonight my flight to Seneca country was delayed. Originally scheduled to depart from LaGuardia at 7:05 p.m., it did not leave until 10:45! I phoned “G” to let her know I would be arriving very late. She reassured me that she would “be there” in Buffalo to meet me.
Until the flight delay, the day had been a pleasant one. After a nice sleep in the Trump International Hotel & Tower, I had enjoyed a delightful eggs benedict breakfast. After that I had worked on Seneca in my room for a little while before checking out.
Leaving my luggage with a valet, I took a taxi to the American Museum of Natural History. There. I marveled at exhibits about prehistoric animals and about both the animals and the peoples of Asia.
The prehistoric vertebrate exhibits fascinated me most! I wanted to stay longer, but time flew -- and before I knew it, I had to leave for LaGuardia Airport
As I waited for my flight at LaGuardia, I felt the crunch, as I was just one of hundreds of passengers forced to wait and wait for various delayed flights. I felt sorry for "G" and her grandson DaEdzO:n who had driven all the way up from Salamanca to pick me up!
“G” and DaEdzO:n (English name "Jordan", English nickname "Jordy") were at Buffalo Airport on this bitterly cold night (about -12 degrees Celsius) to meet me. We didn’t arrive at the place where I would be sleeping until 1:45 a.m.!
