Our catch phrase is on its way.

Dear Fellow Earthlings,

My newest major theme for my blogs is “Live and Let Live!” At present, of the 255 blogs I have released, this newest theme is covered in installments 238 and 254 only...

But if “Earthsaving” (dealt with as the main theme in 50 of my blogs, including today’s) is to happen, surely the concept of “live and let live” must play a major role in achieving it!

Beginning today (November 30, 2015) is the International Summit on Climate Change, to be held in Paris, France. Representatives from 195 nations (around 40,000 delegates altogether) will spend two weeks in Paris in an attempt to determine what paths should be followed so that a course of action to reverse global warming can be implemented. The goal of the Summit is to limit greenhouse gas emissions in order to (as a minimum) slow the growth of global warming. GLOBAL INVOLVEMENT IS NEEDED!

On the first two days of the Summit leaders of the aforementioned 195 nations will be present in Paris. In the remaining ten days of the Summit, the other 40,000 or so attendees will attempt to work out plans of action.

“Plus tard ce sera trop tard!” (“Later will be too late.”) is a French language catch phrase that will be circulated among the attendees at the Summit.

The leaders of the three biggest producers of greenhouse gases (India, China, the United States) will have three-person meetings among themselves as part of the first two days’ proceedings. These three nations are the largest emitters of greenhouse gases. So it is fitting that their leaders should be meeting.

In the aftermath of the massacre of 130 people in Paris by terrorists only two weeks ago, attendees of the Summit must ensure that they focus on the problem of global warming – which threatens many more people of Earth than do all terrorists combined!

The post-traumatic feelings of the massacre must, of course, be dealt with. However, with French security forces on the highest state of

alert, the delegates will, hopefully, be able to determine what attitudes to assume as they seek to find ways to get humankind on track toward the implementation of various measures for averting the looming crisis that all Earthlings could face!

For the coming two weeks it is “make or break time” for climate change!!! Let’s live and let live – Let’s participate and LET participate. Ideological and religious impasses notwithstanding, a solution to global warming must not be postponed any further!
