Our catch phrase is on its way.

Dear Fellow Earthlings,

Allow me to express praise for a group called ”Saving the Survivors”. This group helps rhinoceroses that have been maimed by poachers. In the May 27, 2015 issue of the English language newspaper The Japan News I read how a rhinoceros who has been named “Hope” by the people who are treating her is suffering from grievous injuries inflicted on her by poachers who hacked off her horns to sell.

It is terrible how just small groups of people (and sometimes even one individual person!) can wreak so much havoc and cause so much

death, pain, and suffering!

The group “Saving the Survivors” is made up of people dedicated to helping elephants, antelopes, buffalo, and rhinos that have been injured by wrongdoers. Key members of the group are Dr. John Marais, Dr. Gerhard Steenkamp, and Dr. William Fowlds.

Poor Hope! Thus far, it appears she will survive. But the unbelievable agony she has suffered is something that should be atoned for! I hope that the criminals who committed this crime, this sin, will be made to answer for it!

I urge my readers to contact “Saving the Survivors” -- and to contribute financially to the efforts this group is making to preserve our fellow living creatures!
