Our catch phrase its on its way.
Dear Fellow Earthlings,
One of my advanced clients was having a great deal of difficulty today with the following jingle:
Day 73: Those two corn borers joyfully sought to bore holes in the lower ears of the newer corn.
In particular she was mispronouncing the uW in “two”, the or in “corn”, and the ou as well as the l in “holes”.
I determined that her primary synergy (which should always be 3.5 – See Installments 26, 97, and 235 among others.) was only 3.49, exhibiting a deficiency of only 0.01. However, because of this deficiency, certain of her pitch change gestures (uW, ou, l) were not consistently producing nativelike speech motor skills employment technique manifestations – which resulted in no pitch changes for uW, ou, and l.
Since “The JINGLES” is such a fully developed, mature system at this point, I had her go back to Jingle G, which is a “source Jingle” for the Day 73 Jingle:
JINGLE G: I WANT TO THINK THAT HE WON’T ACCEPT BOTH BAGS OF OATS BECAUSE HE LIVES IN AN APARTMENT IN AN OLD SECTION OF TOWN.
When she produced “JINGLE G”, the very same deficiencies (indicated in bold) appeared.
So her homework is to practice both “JINGLE G” and “Day 73” in a very specialized, specific manner known as “both speeds, both modes”. Being the diligent person she is, this client will surely show improvement in her deficiencies when I teach her next week. Moreover, due to the very methodical manner in which I have spent the last 20 years working on such devices, this client will not develop any additional weaknesses as a result of the efforts she will make over the next seven days.
