Our catch phrase is on its way.

Dear Fellow Earthlings,

Here is what I wrote in my diary 50 years ago today:

Monday, January 20, 1964

Dear Diary,

During “gym” class (physical education class), a few of us guys went outside and played some basketball. You see, the skies were blue and the temperatures today were very springlike.

Today I ran into Carol Hankins, a girl who I used to see a lot last year when I attended North Junior High School. Our eyes met, but I was unable to say anything. You see, I don’t have much confidence when it comes to speaking with girls. As for Carol, she did manage a soft “Hi.” That made my day.

As for TODAY (January 20, 2014), I am training Jingles instructors and working on developing the Seneca project. “G” will be returning from the conference on endangered languages within a day or so. I will give her two days to get over her jet lag and then will resume our "Skype" sessions as we prepare for my upcoming visit to Seneca country.
