Our catch phrase is on its way.
Dear Fellow Earthlings,
This morning “G” took me to a place where adults are being taught önödowa’ga in what is called “an immersion program”. It is in this program that “G” plans to start using the “Gaënö’“ (Seneca language Jingles) that she and I are developing. At the place where the immersion training was going on, I gave a short speech to the people present, explaining the nature of the work that “G” and I are doing. Then I watched as “G” and some of the “Elders” of the Seneca nation engaged in various discussions. These discussions were recorded so that “G” and I will be able to use their contents as a way to develop the Seneca language Jingles further. After “G” and I left the program, we put in another two hours of Gaënö’building. Then we parted ways so that I could return to my room at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in order to work further on our project by going through our data all by myself. “G” and I will meet again tomorrow morning to continue working on our project. At this point we are progressing well with the development of the first two Gaënö’. Time is of the essence. We must get “G” started training adult learners of önödowa’ga as soon as possible!
