Our catch phrase is on its way.

Dear Fellow Earthlings,

(This blog was compiled in the Falklands on 13 August 2013 local time.)

This morning after breakfast I took a walk around Stanley. All day it alternated between absolutely clear blue skies – and grey, stormy ones! I captured that in one of the photos attached to this blog. Christ Church Cathedral looked especially beautiful with its glazing of snow. I worked on Jingles projects all afternoon before taking my daily walk up the Philomel Street hill. I ended up out on the Stanley By-Pass, enjoying the cold and the blowing snow. I saw a place that looked a bit like a totem pole up there. On it are placed various place names on this Earth and their distances from the Falkland Islands. Tonight I had a few drinks in the hotel bar with Simon Fletcher, Director of General Services for the Falkland Islands Government. It was a pleasant evening.
