Our catch phrase is on its way.

Dear Fellow Earthlings,

(This blog was compiled in the Falklands on 8 August 2013 local time.)

I have arranged to meet with a woman named Liz on Monday. She is with Falkland Islands Television (FITV). Let’s hope we can get a video recording made, allowing me to be on FITV! Also, at 1:30 on Monday Hannah who works at Stanley Airport will give me half an hour of her time to be an informant. This morning I was busy trying to update my computer so that I can use it to pursue various Jingles related projects. Also today I made arrangements with a man named Nobby Clarke to drive me down to Walker Creek in the Lafonia region of East Falkland tomorrow. In addition, I plan to revisit Goose Green (See Installment 64.) – and to see a film at the British Forces base in Mt. Pleasant. I understand they have a real state-of-the-art cinema there. I bought a new camera today to replace the one ruined when it fell into sand the other day near Port Stephens. Unfortunately, however, I was unable to buy a spare battery for it. I had a nice walk up Phiiomel Street late this afternoon. That is good exercise!
