Our catch phrase is on its way.

Dear Fellow Earthlings,

This morning I got up at about 4 a.m. I contacted Summit Enterprises, Inc. (my school in Japan) to make sure all is well with my staff – and everything IS well with them, I am happy to report. Also, I contacted Arlette Betts from Lafone House and let her know the reason why I did not arrive in Stanley yesterday. I told Arlette I had met Jasper and Matt – and she replied that she and they are “good friends”. The breakfast here at the Marriott was extremely delicious and nourishing. I spent most of the day in my hotel room attending to various projects, including working on this blog, composing explanations of worksheet goals for Jingles worksheets, and developing my plans for creating Falkland Islands oriented Jingles. Between 4 and 5 p.m. I took a walk around the area near the Marriott Hotel (located on the Avenida Presidente Kennedy). The people on this rather warm Sunday (about 19 degrees Celsius) were nice – but the terrible smog was not! It basically choked me and it almost hid completely from view the majestic mountains that surround the city of Santiago. Obviously, this place used to be a paradise, but the air pollution and overpopulation are putting an end to that with each passing day.
