Dear Fellow Earthlings,

Today I am going to write a little about The Jingles: One of the most important things to mention about them is that they are evolving…….One of the driving forces behind this improvement in “The Jingles” as a learning tool is how well my Jingles clients are developing. Near the end of the year 2004 I noticed that my clients had a great deal of difficulty developing the English z sound (In Jingles terminology, by the way, we call it the English “zU gesture” (Just pronounce the U in “zU” as you would the “ou” in “would” or the “oo” in “good”). I was able to remedy the situation quite easily by modifying the 4th Jingle (known as “JINGLE D”). I just added the words “zero” and “zeros” to that Jingle – and soon saw a remarkable improvement in the quality of the zU gestures of my clients. At about the same time, I saw the need to add “the”/”a”(“an”) distinction training, additional s training and additional uW (as in “zoo”) training to Jingle I (the 9th Jingle) – and saw even more progress among my clients!
