Our catch phrase is on its way.

Dear Fellow Earthlings,

Huge plastic messes floating in the Pacific, air so filthy in some countries that people are dying, nationalities claiming to own the very life forms they are destroying… Let’s start recognizing that many of the things we are doing and many of the ideas we have are what are causing all of these problems!

We need to take responsibility for righting as many wrongs as we can – and NOW! T

he passenger pigeon (driven to extinction by hunting) and the arunchal hopea tree (driven to extinction by being overharvested for the construction of house posts) will most likely never be seen again. But red snappers and pandas and elephants and various species of fig trees and various species of vines and various types of mushrooms and numerous varieties of insects still have a chance if we take responsibility and get to work to safeguard them.

Earth is our home – and we need to clean, repair, and maintain its surface and its atmosphere. In this and the next 5 installments I will comment further on the situation we are dealing with.
