Never Should We Yield to the Inevitability of Extinction!

Dear Fellow Earthlings,

There is a man in France who takes care of various plants (tomatoes, herbs, dahlias, sweet chestnut trees, and so on). He is Prince Louis Albert de Broglie, and he is the owner of the 16th-century château de la Bourdaisière. Prince Albert’s tomato conservatory preserves 650 thriving varieties of tomatoes. Without his efforts many of these varieties might have gone extinct. We need more people to do as Prince Albert has done: to protect living things from extinction. While it is true that extinction seems to await any and all species at some future date, it is our responsibility to protect our fellow living creatures as well as ourselves from having that happen too soon. And, of course, we must make equally heroic efforts to avoid causing their extinctions!!
