There is a man in Oklahoma who takes care of various exotic animals (tigers, lions, baboons, chimpanzees, and so on). His name is Gerold Wayne. When asked if he keeps tigers “captive” in his zoo, he replied that he doesn’t keep tigers captive, but rather he keeps “tigers in captivity” captive. In other words, when man interferes too much with nature, then that “nature” becomes “manmade nature” – sort of like a good-looking guy or lady all dressed up and made up – with artificial odors and colors and looking very nice, but not really natural…
